Welcome to DiMuccio’s DataViews!  I am Vice President of Professional Services Research with the Technology Services Industry Association, which makes me our CDG or Chief Data Geek.  I spend my days (and some of my nights) creating, mining and analyzing many very cool and unique data sets, focused virtually 100% on technology professional services operations and performance.  I do this so our members don’t have to!  Most of my findings are published in formal TSIA Research documents that only members can access.  In this blog, I will share some of the more interesting data points and offer my opinions about how they should be interpreted and perhaps put into practice.  Hopefully, this will stimulate lots of good dialogue.

My DataView “chops” come from 10+ years of doing technology business research in one form or fashion, including stints at large, global hardware, software, services and technology market research firms.  I also have a Ph.D. in international political economy (University of Southern California, 1994), so all in all I come by my Data Geek status rather honestly.
